Yuqin Wu | Cryogenic Applications | Best Scholar Award
Vice President | Ningde Normal University | China
Prof. Yuqin Wu, Vice President of Ningde Normal University, is a distinguished scholar and academic leader specializing in computer network communication, network security, theoretical algorithms, and the optimization of machine learning, with notable contributions to the advancement of next-generation Internet architectures. She holds advanced degrees in computer science and related specializations and further enhanced her expertise as a visiting scholar at Zhejiang University, where she successfully led a project under the National Key Research and Development Program. As an accomplished educator and researcher, Prof. Wu has combined leadership, project management, and scholarly excellence to strengthen both institutional growth and collaborative innovation. Her research focuses on two major cross-disciplinary domains: intelligent network management and security, where she has pioneered new approaches in network architecture control, security situation awareness, and active defense technologies based on artificial intelligence; and the optimization of Internet of Things (IoT) services, concentrating on agile orchestration and intelligent resource scheduling of IoT microservices in SDN/NFV-enabled environments. She has published more than twenty influential papers in prestigious national and international journals, underscoring her growing impact in the scientific community. Notably, her early work on applying machine learning for network security prediction and attack mitigation highlights her forward-looking contributions to addressing global digital challenges. Drawing on Ningde Normal University’s collaborative platforms, Prof. Wu has developed a research system characterized by intelligence-driven innovation, security and controllability, and service empowerment. For many years, I have been steadfast on the front line of teaching and research, dedicated to the research and application promotion of next-generation Internet architectures such as computer network communication and network security, theoretical algorithms and optimization of machine learning, Internet of Things and Software Defined Network (SDN).
